JSC November Shabbat 2025

Program: Tax planning is the most pain-free way to build wealth. There are no cuts to spending or worries about market crashes. The only painful part is that you have to think about taxes. Yet, very few people actively engage in active tax planning.

People think that their tax bill is inevitable, and changes to it are dictated by Congress alone, but you have more control than you may think. Frequently, there are ways to reduce your lifetime taxes, increase the amount you can spend during your lifetime, and create a more valuable legacy for your heirs.

Let's take some time to discuss tax loopholes and ways to utilize the tax code to your advantage. We promise it will be nearly as painful as it sounds.

Speaker: Britta Koepf CFP®, ChSNC® is a financial planner specializing in working with people with disabilities and their families. She is not nearly as dull as you would expect from a person who loves talking about taxes.

Food: The JSC will host an Oneg Shabbat. The Mandel JCC is a kosher facility and does not allow outside non-kosher food, plates, cups, or serving utensils. Join us for an engaging evening!

JSC Guest Policy: We love having guests join us! Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary events (lifetime). After that, the fee is $20.00 per Shabbat. Fees paid may be credited towards an annual JSC membership. Learn more and sign up today!

As you pull into the driveway, follow the signs for Stonehill Auditorium which is on the left side of the building, past the Early Childhood Entrance.
