About the event
Program: Come learn about natural burial and its partnership with conservation at Foxfield Preserve Cemetery. Natural, or green, burial brings internment back to its simplest form. We will discuss how we help families and individuals to achieve simple, meaningful burials, while creating a beautiful nature preserve in Wilmot, Ohio. This will include the connection between Foxfield and The Wilderness Center, and the steps to achieve a green burial in Ohio.
Kristina works closely with individuals, families and funeral directors to help them achieve meaningful services. With a background in education and small-scale, sustainable agriculture, this role has allowed her to pursue her passion for conservation and service.
We invite you to an enlightening presentation about the beauty and purpose behind natural green burial and its connection to conservation at Foxfield Preserve Cemetery, and how this sustainable approach honors both loved ones and the earth, while supporting the mission of The Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio.
Speaker: Kristina Hansen, Sales and Operations Manager at Foxfield Preserve. When she isn’t in the prairie or forest at Foxfield, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and cooking.
