About the event
Program: The Kindertransport Journey: A Grandson’s Reflections
Jason is the grandson of a Kindertransport survivor. He will share stories about his grandmother, Ilse Camis, a Kind originally from Vienna, and her experiences during the war in Great Britain.
Speaker: Jason Camis, Board of Directors Member of the Kindertransport Association. Jason will be presenting remotely just like our very successful September Shabbat.
Food: The JSC will host an Oneg Shabbat. The Mandel JCC is a kosher facility and does not allow outside non-kosher food, plates, cups, or serving utensils. Join us for an engaging evening!
JSC Guest Policy: We love having guests join us! Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary events (lifetime). After that, the fee is $20.00 per Shabbat. Fees paid may be credited towards an annual JSC membership. Learn more and sign up today!
Directions: Enter the JCC campus from S. Woodland. Rd. As you pull into the driveway, follow the signs for Stonehill Auditorium which is on the left side of the building, past the Early Childhood Entrance. Park in the lot on the left across from the entrance. Security provided by the Mandel Jewish Community Center.
