About the event
Program: The Kindertransport Journey: A Grandson’s Reflections
Jason is the grandson of a Kindertransport survivor. He will share stories about his grandmother, Ilse Camis, a Kind originally from Vienna, and her experiences during the war in Great Britain.
Speaker: Jason Camis, Board of Directors Member of the Kindertransport Association. Jason will be presenting remotely just like our very successful September Shabbat.
Food: The JSC will host an Oneg Shabbat. The Mandel JCC is a kosher facility and does not allow outside non-kosher food, plates, cups, or serving utensils. Join us for an engaging evening!
JSC Guest Policy: We love having guests join us! Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary events (lifetime). After that, the fee is $20.00 per Shabbat. Fees paid may be credited towards an annual JSC membership. Learn more and sign up today!
