About the event

Program: Earth Friendly Habits. Join us with speaker Kate Valentine as she helps us understand how soil, insects, micro-organism, plants and trees intersect to sustain life on earth, and why it is important for us to act in an ecologically responsible way. She focuses on teaching simple earth- friendly habits we can use in our yards.



Speaker: Kate Valentine is a local author, environmental advocate, and founder of NEO Leap, an environmental action organization.



Food: The JSC will host an Oneg Shabbat. The Mandel JCC is a kosher facility and does not allow outside non-kosher food, plates, cups, or serving utensils. Join us for an engaging evening!


JSC Guest Policy: We love having guests join us! Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary events (lifetime). After that, the fee is $20.00 per Shabbat. Fees paid may be credited towards an annual JSC membership. Learn more and sign up today!
