Jewish Holidays

Our community celebrates the holidays in a secular manner emphasizing Jewish history and culture. Ceremonies reflect humanistic values and the belief that we are responsible for determining our own destiny. Our interactive services are in English and we sing songs in English, Hebrew and Yiddish. Holiday readings encourage reflection and meditation. And of course we eat!

Join us to experience truly meaningful holiday traditions!

Due to Covid-19, we will have our Shabbat and Holiday observances via Zoom. You will need to RSVP by clicking the green RSVP button before the day of the event so that we can email you a secure link to the meeting. Please check in 10 -15 minutes before our start time so that we can let you in and you can test your connection. We will have Breakout rooms available before and after the meeting so you that can visit with other members.

When possible holiday celebrations will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland. (Fellowship Hall),
21600 Shaker Blvd, Shaker Hts., OH 44122. Click here for Directions.
