Speaker: Daniel Brown, Co-Founder, Rust Belt Riders
Over 40% of all food in the United States ends up in landfills. Rust Belt Riders works to provide people and organizations with alternative. We avoid harmful greenhouse gas emissions, create soil, and support local food systems.

Speaker: Laura DeMarco, Plain Dealer, Arts and Entertainment writer. Author of the 2017 photo-illustrated history of Cleveland, “Lost Cleveland“, will discuss her new book, “Cleveland Then and Now“.

Topic: “Challenges Facing Cleveland’s Suburban Municipalities”
Speaker: Ed Kraus, newly-elected mayor of Solon. Kraus is the first Jewish mayor of Solon.
Ed Kraus is a native of the Cleveland area. He has served in the office of the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor and the City Council of Solon.

Topic: “How Cleveland’s Illiteracy Rate Is Holding Us Back”
Speakers: Jo Steigerwald, Development Director, Seeds of Literacy and Christopher Richards, Site Coordinator, Seeds West. 66% of adults in Cleveland are considered to be functionally illiterate. Seeds of Literacy and its adult students are changing that reality.
