Thank you for your interest in the Jewish Secular Community’s membership program. The Community was founded in 1967 to provide a warm and supportive community where we celebrate the rhythms of life and Jewish holidays in a meaningful and secular humanistic manner.
Come and socialize with like-minded people and join us as we discuss issues of Jewish or universal importance.
Guests new to JSC can attend two Shabbat programs at no cost. After that, guests will pay $20 for each future visit, with no limitation as to the number of visits, and are asked to bring a potluck dish.
There is a $20 guest fee for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur Break-the-Fast and Passover. The Yom Kippur Kol Nidre service is $15 and Sukkot is free. There is no limit on the number of times guests may attend these holidays.
Guest fees for the holidays and Shabbat programs may be applied towards membership dues, but only those paid during the current fiscal year.
The yearly membership dues for an adult age 35 and over is $185. Dues for an adult under the age of 35 is $100. There is no cost for those under 18 years of age. Should you need special consideration, contact our treasurer who will work with you through a confidential process.
We hope you will seriously consider becoming part of our community.
